Calling him "the only choice for the 99%," AFSCME announced Dec. 6 their endorsement of President Barack Obama for reelection in 2012.

The process that will empower front-line state workers to improve their worklives is up and running. We'll be looking for your ideas.

The Occupy Wall Street movement has struck a chord across our country. Movements are springing up all over, including Connecticut, as working people express their anger at the top 1% who continue to prosper while the rest of us struggle to make ends meet.
